tired of it all...

Helloo, this is going to be my first real, official blog. So here it goes...

If anyone knows me, they know I worry too much, I'm a worrywart at heart and I'm not that proud of it. I worry a lot about my friends and the things they do, mainly because I care about them. But as of now, I'm sick of worrying about them. There's stuff going on in my life that I certainly don't agree with. But it's not like i can control it. Only God can. And I have to learn and realize this. I can't control the things my friends do, or my family, or really anyone, except myself. It's so hard for me to just stand around doing nothing while I watch some of my close friends do things that could potentially ruin their lives. Believe me, I've told some of them over and over how I feel about it and how the things they do can mess them up. But not many really listen to me, and I've just decided to in a way give up. Not necessarily stop caring, but just let them do what they want, until they realize that what they're doing isn't really a good idea to do. It's like what I learned in youth group this last week, that sometimes i just have to know when to say I CAN'T. So right now, I'm telling God, I CAN'T handle these situations alone. I CAN'T control what my friends or family does. All i CAN really do is ask God to watch over them, protect them, and eventually give those I love the wisdom they ultimately need. So instead of worrying and stressing myself out, I will give all of these anxieties to God, and pray He can do the things I cannot.

Right now, all I can have is hope.

Sara you are a good person, I am glad that you are letting God help you. I am always here for you and you know that, sometimes you just need to let go, and let some people realize what they are missing.

I'm way proud of you. I know it's hard to do that but just remember that he put all the stars in the sky, created all the animal, every last detail was put together by his hand. When you let go then you let God do what he does best...work the details.

Sara, what a hard and great place to be. I know that when we are at our weakest, his strength is shown. Matt 5:3 in the message version; "You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule." Keep caring and keep giving it to Him.
